[Cham]

Ven had been in and out of sleep, waking with a chill every time the bag handing above her dripped down a new dosage, and flow of blood. She couldnt help but feel nauseated at the sight of it, so each time she snuggled back into Noah's exhausted frame, and shivered until he warmed her up, and she could pass back out of the world. Unfortunately, this in and out made for a restless night. As it neared 4am, the bag had finally run dry, and she fell asleep for good.

That was until she felt Noah shifting beside her. She tried to stay asleep in the folds of her mind, but couldnt when he touched her. Her blood ignited, and she blushed when she could hear the beeping of the monitor showing her heart rate quickening. Hopefully he would merely put it down to brain activity. She opened her eyes, sniffling a little, and shuffling so she lay on her back, her hands on his neck, pulling him down for a kiss "Good Morning my love" She whispered as he pulled back up, stretching slightly beneath him.

Minutes later the doctor came in, knocking softly, his eyes wide when he saw Noah's position over her. Ven smirked, and pushed Noah to the side, sitting up on her own "Morning Doc" she said with a yawn

[Lotus]

Noah kissed her back, but jumped away quickly when the doctor came in and Ravenna pushed him away. He chuckled awkwardly as he slid off the bed, rearranging his shirt a little and scratching the back of his neck. "Morning Doc. Ravenna can be discharged today right?"

The doctor nodded his head as Noah moved away to sit in the chair. Storm came and rested his head on his knee. "I just need to check Ravenna's vitals and then she'll be good to go." He smiled awkwardly and coldly towards Noah before moving towards the bed. Noah watched as the doctor checked her over and he smiled reassuringly when Ravenna looked his way.

Finally the doctor stepped back and nodded his head. "You're looking fine. Just take it easier and I'll go fill out your release forms."

[Cham]

Ven nodded softly, trying to stifle yet another yawn as she laid back, allowing the doctor to prod and poke her, turning after a moment and making a funny face towards Noah. His grin was addictive, so she made another before being forced to listen to the doctor. A nurse came in a moment later with a clip board of forms, and Ven sighed, sitting up and crossing her legs. The nurse chuckled, and shook her head at Storm "He was putting up such a fuss last night. But several of the night workers nearly had heart attacks when they saw him."

Ven grinned at Storm who looked well chuffed. With a final flourish, Ven handed the papers back to the nurse, who handed them to the scowling doctor, then began to unhook her from all of the machines. She couldnt help but wince when the needles pulled out of her skin. Frowning at the small amount of blood that oozed with them. Tiny bandages put atop to collect the drops.

With a shiver, Ven reached her hand out for Noah's, waiting until he was standing next to her to lean over and whisper "I hope i never have to look at my own blood again"

[Lotus]

Noah chuckled softly as he made his was over to her. "You never shall have to again baby." He kissed the top of her head before walking over to the chair and grabbing the clothes placed their by some of the nurses for Ravenna to wear, seeing as Noah wasn't going to leave her side. He gave them too her and kissed her cheek, "Get changed and we can head home."

He walked back over to the chair and settled down, allowing Ravenna to change and let her do things on her own. She needed that independence after being in hospital. He watched her lovingly and scratched Storm's ear as they both stayed alert.

[Cham]

Ven blushed when Noah made no move to leave the room. What was it about this that was making her so nervous? With trembling fingers though, she did it. Dressed herself. Noah had been doing absolutely everything for her the last few days, and it was well time for her to begin to do things on her own once more.

When she turned back to him, he was grinning. Her whole face flushed, and sh resumed her seat on the bed. But after no more than a minute, she stood, walking to the door and opening it. The nurse stood just outside with a wheelchair ready. "We wont be needing that, thak you ma'am" Ven said softly. The woman grinned and nodded, carrying it away "Wait!" Ven called her back "Can... Erm... Can i go now?" The nurse smiled, and gave her a confirming nod.

Turning back to Noah, she squealed "Lets go home baby"

[Lotus]

Noah grinned at her words and nodded his head. Running over to her and swooping her up into his arms carefully. He heard the nurses laughing at his antics as he kissed Ravenna softly on the lips. "Home sounds perfect right now." Storm was at his heels as they walked out of the hospital, with Ravenna in his arms. And that was how he walked through the streets to their home. He was so in love with this girl that he didn't care if his image of being the bad boy started to disappear. Ravenna had tamed him and he was never going back.

Finally they arrived home and Stormed bounded up to the front door, barking. He chuckled and set Ravenna down gently on the steps as he opened the front door. "Welcome home baby."

[Cham]

Ravenna held her arms up, knowing at his speed what he was about to do. She couldnt be bothered with the whispers, onyl with the fact that Noah seemed to be himself once again. Whatever it was that clicked, had, and he was back. Her lips pressed into his hard, and she relished it. She could spend eternity kissing this man. Unfortunatley, that time was not now, and he pulled back. Ven snuggled into his shoulder, and murmured "I love you Noah... Never forget that"

His face lit up, and stayed illuminated the whole way home. It wasnt until he set her down, and she pulled his lips to hers once more that the smile on his face faded. This time, she had to be the one to pull away, if only just to step into the house. The reason why was a whole other story.


The entire flat was trashed. The sofas had been shredded, burn marks up the walls. Photographs had been torn, and the frames smashed. Ven tried to take another step into the apartment, but stopped, knowing that Noah would most likely kill whoever had done this. But Ven already had an inkling of who had been there...

[Lotus]

Noah took a step inside when Ravenna faltered and his eyes came across a sorry sight. His home was trashed, everything broken and irreplaceable. His fists clenched and Storm barked furiously. He ran up the stairs, seeing that his bedroom was trashed. Then he ran to Moni's and saw that that was luckily left untouched. The only room in the house that was. He ran back downstairs and into what used to be his living room. He ran to where the shelf used to be. His foot crunched over something and he looked down, bending to pick up the photo. It was of him and Moni, before he ruined her life.

Tears sprang to his eyes and he placed the cracked photo frame back on the broken shelf. He sighed before his fists clenched again. "How dare they?! HOW DARE THEY FUCKING DO THIS TO MY HOME!!" He yelled at the top of his voice. He grabbed a pillow and threw it across the room before breaking down in the middle of the room. "I will fucking kill them." He ground out.

[Cham]

Ravenna took a more tender approach at entering the house. She allowed Noah to march in, but she turned to the kitchen first, grabbing the set of knifes and tucking them into her clothes. If there was someone still here, she didnt want to give them access to anything.

Luckily, they had fled. Ven heard a scream from the living room, and bounded in, clenching her teeth at the exertion it took. She stopped at the doorway, watching her love coming apart at the seams. Wtih tender steps, so as not to ruin anything else, she knelt next to him, pulling his head from his hands, and onto her shoulder "Baby please, just breath" She murmured, stroking his head "We can fix this... Noah, breathe."

[Lotus]

Noah nodded his head slowly, breathing in and out as he listened to the shallow breaths Ravenna took. Slowly, he lifted his head from her shoulder and kissed her on the lips with all his pent up anger showing through. He pulled back and rested his forehead against hers. "This is my fault. You need to rest, I'll sort this." With that he pulled Ravenna into his arms and stood up, walking up the stairs to Moni's room.

He placed her on the bed gently and kissed her head. "I'll clear the bedroom up first so we'll have somewhere to sleep tonight." He tried to smile softly, but it was forced. He told Storm to stay guard as he walked back out of the room and to theirs at the end of the hall. He was in for a long haul if he wanted to get the house back to normal, especially with a broken arm.

He needed to make a good life for Ravenna.

[Cham]

Ravenna was shocked when Noah kissed her. It was hard and quick, filled with aggression, but zero passion, and zero love. It was all she could do to hide her surprise, and kiss him back. If this was what he needed, she would give it to him. But he pulled back. And in that moment, she felt the safest she had ever felt. He had control over it. Any sliver of doubt that he would ever get angry with her, and possibly hurt her evaporated. He really did love her...

She pulled his lips back to hers lovingly for only a moment. Caressing his cheek and looking him square in the eye. "None of this is your fault baby, you cant control other peoples actions. Especially not assholes." She took a big breath, and made the suggestion that had been spinning around her head since they stepped into the house "Maybe we should move..." His eyes got wide, but he didnt respond. Perhaps she would bring it up gain later...

He laid her softly on the bed, and she knew better than to argue. She would rest for a while yes, but not long, she needed to help. This was their hoe, and it was still partly her responsibility to help. She nodded, and held onto his hand for a moment longer than she needed to "I love you Noah..." She murmured, before letting his fingers slip from hers, and turning over to close her eyes.

[Lotus]

Noah picked up all the debris from their bedroom and threw it in a black bag. Once the floor was cleared he could finally see the true damage. Luckily it wasn't as bad as downstairs so all he had to really do was strip the bedding to throw it away and move a few things back to where they were originally. The only problem was, was that they had to repaint.

As he cleared up he got to thinking about Ravenna's idea of moving. In a way he wanted to, he wanted to make a home for her but in another he couldn't bare the thought of leaving. He'd made space for Moni here and it was his first home. As well as the sappy side he didn't want to give in to these idiots that thought they could mess with him. He wanted to prove them wrong.

Next he headed into the bathroom where an incredibly un-tasteful set of words were scrawled across the mirror. Noah sighed and began to scrub.

[Cham]

Ven couldnt seem to get to sleep. Her eyes just didnt want to close. Something felt wrong. Besides the fact that she was in Moni's bed. There was something different... Something wrong. So she slipped out of the bed, opening drawers, and rifling through the shelves before finally opening the closet. Her mouth opened to scream at the man standing in Moni's closet, but he was quicker, his hand silencing her. The two knifes that she had tucked into her waistband were removed, and her heart began to pump furiously, watching his hand as he drew one of them to her throat, turning her around so his chest was to her back, and slowly making their way out of the room and to the stairs.

Three steps down, she made the decision to try. To not go quietly. So she pretended to trip. The knife came away from her throat, and she crouched before headbutting his knee. Pain lace through her fractured skull, and it began to ache. But he gave out a shout, tripping over her, nearly bringing her down the steps with him. At the bottom she found him trying to stand. But he didnt get more than to his knees before she grabbed his head, bringing it down to her knee that she had thrust up. He collapsed, clearly unconscious, his nose broken.

A wave of nausea came over her, and she scrambled up the steps, feeling light headed from the adrenaline. Into the room they shared. She shouted Noah's name, and his head popped around the bathroom door. Her breathing finally slowed, and she fell to her knees, feeling him next to her in an instant. "A man" she sucked in air, trying to eplain to him what happened "A man in Moni's closet... Tried to take me..." A giggle forced its way up her "Bottom of stairs, out cold. Broken nose" Her vision swam, and she pointed to the door "Go Noah. Get him"

[Lotus]

Noah was by Ravenna's side immediately, scared for her safety. He wrapped his arms around her but they grew tense when she said what she did. Someone tried to hurt her?! In his own home! Fury wrapped itself around him and he stood up, picking Ravenna up so she could stand on her feet. "Stay here." He growled before kissing her cheek and running out the door, to the bottom of the stairs.

Just as he reached the bottom he heard the groan and he looked down at the man, clearly just surfacing from his unconscious state. Noah picked him up, grabbing him by his shirt and slammed him against the world. "What the hell do you think you were trying to do? Trying to take what's mine?" Noah slammed the man against the wall again, harder, till the man's eyes rolled in his head a little.

"Please, stop it. God, get off me!" Noah was confused and he let his grip loosen slightly, before he growled out for the man to explain. "I didn't know this was your house. I was paid to do it. It's my job, on the side. If I'd known it was yours I wouldn't 'ave come. Comin' here's a death wish and I don't want that. I was just doin' what I was told!"

Noah slid one hand up and wrapped it around the man's throat, squeezing till the man started struggling. "You going to tell me who sent you to do this to us?" He said in a calm, yet terrifying manner.

[Cham]

Ravenna stood, leaning against the footboard of their bed, hearing the harsh words that Noah screamed at the man. But she could do nothing. Her compassion had run dry. She knew who had done this, she recognized the man. So with tender steps, wincing at her pounding head and the shouts, she made her way to the top of the steps. "I know" She whispered, holding onto the railing for dear life as she made her way downstairs. "I know exactly who you are Andre"

His face went pale, and he tried to shove Noah off. But he was much to weak to try and take him on. "Youre Mac's pimp arnt you? Youre the asshole who took our money, and got her into your godforsaken world..." Andre stuttered, trying to make a defense for himself, but she walked up, balling up her fist and letting her anger out on his face. He swore, spitting blood at her. Her hand stung now, but she felt better, and she muttered to Noah "Put this guy out on his ass" Shaking her head and walking into the dining room so Andre couldnt see her weakness. Curling up onto the chair, and hearing both men shouting at each other once again. Tears stung her eyes, but she wouldnt let them out while this monster was in her home...

[Lotus]

Noah shook with anger, so much so that he couldn't even admired the fight that Ravenna had in her when she was in such a poorly state. As soon ass she walked away he nodded and grinned maliciously. "It's time you found out how the bad boys really play." With that Noah tightened his grip around Andre's throat while letting go with his other hand and smashing it into his jaw.

He let Andre go and fall to the ground, trying to gain his footing back but Noah was having none of it. He rammed Andre backwards into the wall and and kneed him in the stomach before pulling him upright and smashing his other fist into his nose. He heard another audible crack and was pleased that he was suffering now after everything he'd done. "You'd better take this as your lesson. The next time you cross me or that bitch of yours crosses us, you're both dead. Personally I'd love to do it myself, but I think the Peacekeepers would have much more fun with. Besides, I don't want dirty, foul blood on my hands." With that Noah slammed his head against the wall again and threw him the floor. "Is that understood?" He growled out.

When he didn't reply Noah picked him up by his collar again and opened the front door. "IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?" He yelled. There was a weak, pathetic nod before Noah threw him outside and slammed the door. He sank down to the floor and held his head in his hands.

Suddenly he stood up and ran to the kitchen. "We're moving."

Ravenna was shaking, the trauma of the last several days was getting to her, but she had to push it aside. wiping the streams of tears from her face and moving to Noah, who was still clearly bristling with anger. But she knew how to calm him, pulling his head to hers, and kissing him softly " Breathe darling. You need a clear head" Forcing her way into his arms, and laying her head on his chest.

Noah was her comforter. Her rock. She stood there until his aggression was gone, looking up to him with a small smile. "Ill go pack our things. You sit here" She moved to the sink, grabbing a glass and filling it with water. He hadnt moved, so she took his hand, moving him to a chair and pushing him down into it "Drink this, and try to breathe."

A moment later she was up the stairs, grabbing their backs, and folding clothes, stuffing them in as fast as her broken body could.

[Lotus]

Noah couldn't move. He was too angry and shaken to do anything. Slowly though, Ravenna seemed to calm thee rage that was churning within him before she made him sit down and drink some water. It helped calm him even more and by the time he was really back to reality, he realised what he'd let Ravenna go and do.

He put the glass down and ran up the stairs. He picked her up in his arms gently and kissed her with as much passion as he could muster. "I'm sorry this happened. Lie down, we'll spend the night here. Pack in the morning and then we can look for a new house together."

[Cham]

Ravenna was nearly half way done. Their closet looked sparce, and she was working on the drawers at this point. But Noah burst into the room, in only the way Noah could. She turned, and felt his hads around her waist, her own slipping up and around his neck. Kissing him back with a small smile, her legs awrapping around his waist.

His words shocked her though, and she wiggled out of his arms. "Noah. We cant stay here. We need to leave tonight." Her mouth was hanging open in disbelief that he wanted to stay here any longer. After a moment she understood. This was really his home. As much as she felt it was hers as well, she was used to moving around every few days. So she tried to be more gentle "My love. Its not safe here anymore. We can wait until nightfall, but no longer. Its just not safe."

Taking a deep breath, she suggested where they stay "We can stay with your parents for the night. Ive already called your mother... She said we could sleep in the living room..."

[Lotus]

Noah shook his head, stepping away from Ravenna. Tears filled his eyes and he looked around. "I have memories here Ravenna. Memories of you that I don't want to lose. This is my first home, the one I made for myself. One where I was free of my family, and now you want to have us stay there. They already think I'm worthless, why do I have to give them something else to think badly of me about. They'll think I can't look after you, my own life. They'll...they'll..." That's when he sunk to the floor.

Storm came bounding in to the room, as if sensing that the danger was over but knowing that his master wasn't okay. He whined but Noah pushed him away, before standing up and moving away. "I'll say goodbye..."

[Cham]

Ravenna watched Noah sink to the floor, becoming a shell. Tears resurfaced, and she turned back to packing "Im sorry Noah. I understand, Im not trying to hurt you, but i have to make sure we are safe..."

When she looked back, he was shaking his head, and walking out of the room. Sighing, she let her head sink to her hands, shaking it, and finally allowing the tears to flow as she shakily packed.

[Lotus]

Noah wandered round his trashed home, taking in the rooms for the last time. He picked up a bag along the way and placed anything in it that he wanted to keep. Mainly, it was filled with things from Moni's room that he wanted to keep for her. Photos also occupied the bag, as well as ornaments and trophies here and there. Pretty much everything else was trashed. He made his way downstairs into the cupboard and pulled out all of Storm's belongings; his extra bowls, leads, collars and beds, before turning to the living room. He entered slowly, heading over to the fireplace where a smashed photo of him and Moni stood when she still had her vision. He sighed sadly, and placed it in the bag too.

He slung it over his shoulder and slowly made his way upstairs again. He entered his and Ravenna's room, about to say they could leave but he could't form the words when he saw the state she was in. He made his way over to her cautiously and placed his hands on her back, rubbing circles in the place he knew would ease her tension. "It's going to be okay. Let's get out of here baby." He whispered softly, before heading over to their other packed bags or clothes and essentials before once again heading to the door.

In the doorway he turned back round and looked at his room. He closed his eyes, remembering the times he had in here. The ones of Ravenna and the firs time they made love. All their arguments and make up sessions. And just plain old happiness filled the room, until now. That made his eyes snap open. He saw Ravenna watching him and he smiled sadly, inclining his head back as if to say lets go before turning for the last time and leaving his home; calling to Storm to follow.

[Cham]

Ravenna sat on the floor of their closet and cried. No matter how hard she tried to stop, she felt that she simply couldnt. So she worked through the tears, attempting to avoid dripping on the clothes she folded. It was nearly impossible, but she did her best.

Minutes later she could feel Noah's hands on her, soothing the ache that had begun in her back, and causing her shoulders to cease trembling. Despite what he thought, he really did show her how he cared. He was a good man. And simply could not see. She could feel herself calming down with Noah's whispers, zipping up the bag and standing with him. IT was heavy, but she would manage. Besides, Noah already had the backpack, and two other duffles in his hands. She could manage with the smallest and probably lightest of them.

Nodding, she looked around, scanning the room to see if she had missed anything. Her eyes eventually came to rest on Noah who was gazing about the room in a sadness. Yet there was light behind his eyes. He was remembering. A soft, sympathetic smile came to her lips, and he looked up at her, returning the smile.

He turned to walk out, and she stopped him in the doorway, her voice cracking "Noah..." He stopped, his shoulders bristling with tenstion as his head slowly turned to look at her. She had set the bag down, and closed the gap between them, carefully, whilist mantaining eye contact, she took the bags from his hands, setting them on the ground as well, then threw her arms around his neck and kissed him with as much passiona as she could muster. He seemed surprised, but when she pulled away, she murmured "I love you... We can make a new home together. It will be ours. We can do whatever you like there, Moni can visit, hell, she could even move in if she wants. But Noah... It will be our home. IT will be safe."

[Lotus]

Noah kissed her back, relishing in the normality of the kiss. When she pulled away her words finally made sense so he just nodded his head in reply before clearing his throat. "That we can and I will make sure you're safe every god-damn day of my life." He whispered against her lips before kissing her again softly. He pulled away and nodded his head back to the door before picking up his bags in one hand and taking her hand in his other.

Together, with Storm at Noah's side, they left the house. At the end of the path Noah turned back to look at his lost home, sighing before turning her head round slowly to look in the direction of his parent's home. "Guess it's time to face the music." He kissed the top of her head before whispering, "Just let me handle my parents okay?" He saw her nod and he smiled softly before leading the way, trying his hardest not to look back.

By the time they got to his parent's home, he was a nervous wreck. He hated having to become dependent on his family again, even if it was just for one night. He dropped all the bags to the floor, as he kissed Ravenna's cheek and tried to give her an encouraging smile. He knocked on the door and his mother came to it, the glare on her face saying it all. "What are you doing back here? Come to scrounge some more?"

"No mother. I'm here because our home was destroyed earlier this evening by vandals. They left nothing untouched and I'm surprised they didn't just burn the house down with the mess they made on the inside. Some man nearly attacked Ravenna in our own home while we were trying to clean it up, and that's when we decided that was it. We're looking for a new house tomorrow, someone safe and where there's room for Moni when she comes to stay. And she will come to stay with me whenever she wants to; you can't stop her because believe it or not she loves me even if you don't. So if you don't mind, I would like to get my girlfriend a bed to lie on before she passes out. It's been a stressful day and I wish to get permission to stay here the night before we're out of your hair early tomorrow morning."

And never in his life had he seen his mother speechless.
