Site Wide Plot
The games have continued on as if they've always existed within the Districts and the Capitol. The Capitol has firm reins on the Districts as they always have. There is no stopping the President from doing whatever he wants to do with the Districts.
The 25th Hunger Games, the First Quarter Quell, the Districts themselves had to select the tributes that went into the Hunger Games Arena. The Districts were slightly distressed by the idea, but complied as they should. The winner of that Quarter Quell was an upstart young thing by the name of Hayden Sparrow, from a career district.
The Capitol
The Capitol has continued to fully function and its population is booming. Its luxurious economy is following the same suite life of the high birth rate and long life span that they enjoy in the Capitol. With the 28th Hunger Games not to far away, the Citizens of the Capitol are giddy with excitement. The new Head Gamemaker promises that no one will know what the Arena is and that it will be one of the most exciting and entertaining Games that the Citizens of Panem have seen yet!
The Districts
The Districts are as compliant as ever. The war that rocked the country so short years ago still has those that remember it reeling. The residents of many of the districts try their hardest to meek out a living in the harsh conditions the capitol leaves them in.
The wealthy districts on the other hand enjoy the high life of style, sophistication and never knowing what it is like to go with out. But boy will those well fed children have a surprise in store for them when they realize that food, lodging and healthcare are not readily available to them in the arena. And that money or not, all but one will die.
Whispers are coming, that few brave residents have wandered beyond their district fence and survived that a place thought long gone is caring for and taking care of them. That life will continue, even in the most unlikeliest of places.
