[Cham]

Ravenna's head hung. She knew she didnt deserve his love. But she was slightly frightened of him. And clearly it showed in her eyes when she looked back up at him, grabbing his hand. A small smile on her face. Moni giggled, shuffling off the bed and out of the room.

Ven pulled Noah back down onto the bed and whispered, a vulnerable look in her eyes "Do you really love me like that?"

[Lotus]

Noah glanced down at a giggling Moni before he was pulled to sit down on the bed next to Ravenna. He heard the worry and pain in her voice but what scared him the most was the vulnerable look on her eyes. He couldn't bare to stand seeing her look like that, especially when it was directed towards him. The one person she should be able to trust with no reservations what so ever.

He cleared his throat and clasped her battered hand in his own, never straying from her eyes. "How could I not." He didn't ask it as a question, but more of a statement and he smiled softly and sadly before leaning forward and placing the tenderest of kisses on her forehead.

[Cham]

She let her second hand grip his, and the vulnerability left her gaze. It was replaced by love and tenderness. Shuffling closer to him, she leaned her head on his shoulder "Let me come with you tonight? I promise i wont over do it..." Her body was clearly saying no, but despite what he could say, she would follow regardlessly

"Besides" Ven went on "We have to drop off Moni back at home soon anyways." Her smile was an attempt at being tempting, but Noah didnt look all that swayed.

[Lotus]

Noah didn't want Ravenna coming with him. He wanted to wrap her up in bubble wrap and cotton wool and let nothing hurt her ever again. He shook his head, before seeing the determined look in her eyes and he sighed. "How about we both take Moni home but I leave you at my parents with Moni and I'll come back for you after training? I don't want to risk you getting hurt baby..." He trailed off, kissing the top of her head gently.

"Moni? You'd like that wouldn't you? More time with Ven, I mean, Ravenna." He saw her mull it over before she nodded. "Then it's sorted." He felt Ravenna sigh and sighed along with her. "I'm trying to protect you..."

[Cham]

Ven leaned up to kiss Noah's cheek "I know youre trying to protect me, i know that, and i love that" She smiled softly "But i have to get back out there sometime. Why not now? Limber myself up" Knowing she would get shot down, she began to devise a plan.

"But, i will go to your parents. I want to meet them anyways" Winking at him, and seeing a bit of nervousness in his eyes. Had he never brought a girl home before?

[Lotus]

Noah nodded his head, but then when Ravenna said about meeting his parents he rethought his whole plan. He had never taken someone back to see his parents. His parents were to ashamed of him to be sleeping round the district to really care about which flavour of the month he was with. He shook his head and cleared his throat, "Okay, I'll bring you to training but you have to stay and watch. No moving too much okay?"

He looked to Moni and she was giving him a knowing look and he sighed. He couldn't take Ravenna back to his parents yet. He needed to be dead certain of her, even more so than he was now.

[Cham]

Ven smiled, thinking she had gotten off way easier than she had planned, sneaking out of his parents house, finding her way to the beach anyways.

Sticking her pinky up, and sticking her tongue out at him with a grin "Promise" She murmured. Eager to still meet his parents, even if only for a moment, along with spend a bit more time with Moni.

[Lotus]

Noah nodded his head and wrapped his little finger around hers in promise. He kissed the top of her head again before standing up and picking Ravenna up gently in his arms. "Shall we go downstairs. Get out of this stuffy room. I think it's time for more painkillers sweetheart anyway."

He kissed the top of her nose as he watched Moni stand up and make her way to the door with ease and down the stairs. "You really are brilliant for letting her learnt the house like this."

[Cham]

Ven smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck, giggling as he hoisted her into the air. A soft kiss on his cheek and a hushed whisper of "Thank you my love, but i dont need any more pain killers." before leaning her head on his neck.

She giggled when his lips pecked her nose, and watched Moni over his shoulder just to make sure she was ok. "Well, she knew most of it. And shes the brilliant one. What a fast learner." Seeing Moni's smile meant more to her than she had ever known it could...

[Lotus]

Noah shook his head and sighed, "Then have some more when you feel it okay?" He saw the nod and smiled softly. His arms tightened around her ever so slightly and took a deep breath, can't believing how lucky he was to have such a strong girl to love him.

Noah couldn't help but grin about when talking of Moni. She was a bright spark and always had been. She truly was a jewel to behold. He kissed Ravenna's head and smiled, "Thanks to you she's even better. She's always been brilliant, she would be even more so if I hadn't blinded her..." He sighed before heading downstairs.

[Cham]

Ven grinned and leaned her head on Noah's shoulder as they began to walk down the street. Listening to his soft words, relishing the feel of his arms around her. But she could hear the pain in his voice when he brought up her impairment. She hadnt been there, but had read of the accident in the paper. Specially looking for a picture of him, though there had been none, she still kept the artical.

Raising her head, she gripped his chin in her hand, pulling his eyes to hers "Noah. You didnt do it intentionally. It was an accident. She is fine now, and you have to let it go. If anything, it helps her see the world differently. It hides most of the bad, and she is able to see more good that anyone else. Looks dont matter to her. Be happy that she is going to find someone who treats her like a queen." Vens soft lips pressed into his tenderly. "Hope she finds someone with a heart as pure as yours."

[Lotus]

Noah shook his head, looking away even when Ravenna turned his head to look at her. A lump formed in his throat as Moni waited for them at the end of his street. "I still caused it. I still caused her to lose her sight. Her favourite thing used to be watching the sunset from her bedroom window every night. I took that from her and so much more." He sighed as his steps faltered slightly. "She will find someone better than I am."

They reached the end of the street, with Storm on one side and Moni holding onto the side of his shirt. They made their way to his parents house and it took all of fifteen minutes while Moni chatted along quite happily. They soon reached the house and Noah placed Ravenna on her feet gently. He kissed her forehead, "Stay here and I'll be back in a minute." He smiled sadly before taking hold of Moni's hand and leading her up the porch steps. He knocked on the door and it was swung open to his mum grinning at the two of them.

"Hello darlings!"

Ven held him tightly, unsure of what she could possibly say to help him. It had technically been his fault, but it wasnt intentional... The only thing she could do was hold him. Hold him tightly, and never let go. One of her hands slipped down to his chest, over his heart, and stayed there as he carried her with ease dwn the street. She had never actually been to his parents house before, and as they drew closer she began to feel self conscious. The bruises and cuts covered her body, and despite being clothed, she felt that everyone could see every scratch on her.

She felt woozy when Noah put her down, and grabbed onto the porch supports for... well, support. And watched as Noah and Moni walked up the steps. She smiled to herself, and thought that one day maybe that would be their daughter, going to spend the afternoon with her grandparents...

Allowing her fantasies to run rampant in her mind, her eyes began to glaze over, and she shook herself when she heard her name being called several times. Noah's mother was smiling awkwardly down at her, and finally said "Dear, would you like to step in for a moment?" Ven felt herself going pale, but nodded, tenderly walking her way up the steps where Noah had a confused, and worried look on his face. Slipping her hand into his, she gave him a reassuring squeeze.

[Lotus]

It had all been going well until his mother's attention was caught by something at the bottom of the porch steps. And that something turned out to be a someone, Ravenna. She looked deathly pale and Noah cursed himself for not noticing. What confused and terrified him more was why his mother was being so kind and welcoming.

Moni had already walked into the house, so by the time Ravenna slipped her hand into his the pathway to the door was clear. "Come on Noah. Stop dilly-dallying. This young girl needs attention." Noah shook his head and led Ravenna inside, where his mother directed her to a seat on the couch while Noah stood awkwardly in the door.

"Hello son." His father spoke before noticing Ravenna. "And who do we have here?"

Noah cleared his throat awkwardly and looked down, "This is Ravenna, dad. My girlfriend." There was a gasp that sounded around the room followed by an awkward silence. He looked up to find them both staring at him and he shrunk back until his mother spoke.

"Then what have you done to the poor girl? I thought you could at least look after her. I'll be surprised if she sticks around with your track record and the state she's in now..." Noah's mouth hung open and he shook his head taking a step back.

"Do you ruin all girls lives son? First Moni, then every girl in the district and now your girlfriend? I'm ashamed..." And that was it. Noah felt tears in his eyes as he backed out of the room.

[Cham]

Ven was shocked, her eyebrows raised, and her jaw literally dropped at the blatentness of his parent. She saw him being attacked, and yet couldnt find the strength to move until Moni was brought into the conversation "Holy shit" She gasped out "He didnt do this. If anything, he saved my life, on more than one occasion."

His father looked shocked at her boldness. She stood, paling again, but forced herself to step towards Noah, taking his hand "He is a good man" She went on "He made some mistakes, but were fixing those, hes already proved himself to me. He doenst need your approval. And neither do i"

Ven though she had done well, but saw his mothers white face and her murmur of "Are you pregnant?"

Once again Ravenna's jaw dropped open. This time instead of her calm, confident voice, she screeched "For HELLS SAKE NO YOU BITCH!"

[Lotus]

Noah couldn't believe Ravenna's words or the situation that was unfolding. He shook his head, squeezing her hand and pulling her behind him. His head shot up when he heard the word 'pregnant' and his eyes widened when Ravenna lost it. He took her in his arms and shook his head, "Ravenna? Don't. I'm warning you. Please, don't lose it." He kissed the top of her head and moved backwards, pushing her behind him.

He put on a blank face and could tell his voice lost all emotion as he looked at his parents. "I know I screwed up. I nearly killed Moni and in turn that lost her her sight. I made your perfect daughter not so perfect, but she still is. She's perfect in every way. I'm the screw up of a son. You only loved me when I was the most feared in the district, proud of me even. I'm nothing to you anymore other than the child you wished you'd never had. I'm trying to make up for all my wrong doing's, I really am. And no, Ravenna is not pregnant. This is a proper relationship and my first one..." He took a deep breath as he saw the scolding look from his father.

His fists clenched and he closed his eyes. "I'm. Sorry." Then he saw Moni standing behind their parents and his features softened. "I regret my actions every day Moni. You know that..." With that he turned around and gently nudged Ravenna out of the way. She looked like she was going to put up a fight, but he just gave her a look to tell her no. He needed to leave.

[Cham]

Ven found herself straining feebly against Noah. She was infuriated. But confused when he spoke as though aimed toward Moni. Then she saw her. The child with wide eyes that were clouded over. The pure and utter shock on her face. Ven felt ashamed, and turned to Noah 'let me go' she whispered 'trust me...'

Feeling his hands relinquish, she walked over to Moni, kneeling down and putting her hands on her upper arms "Moni, whenever you want, you come and visit us ok? We both love you very very much" She could feel her voice cracking, and she pulled Moni into a tight hug. Finding herself spent when she released the child. Struggling to stand back up and make her way back to Noah's side. "Were leaving now, i would expect a little more respect for your SON when we return"

[Lotus]

Noah's world turned upside down again when Ravenna told Moni she loved her, indirectly. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have a girl like her. He was about to go and say goodbye to Moni when Ravenna came back over to him and he squeezed her hand as he took a step forward to her. But the look on his parents stopped him. His steps faltered and he bowed his head. "Bye Moni. I'll see you soon. I love you."

With that he turned and walked out of the living room. He kept his head down as he led Ravenna slowly out of the house. He shut the door behind them and they started heading down to the beach, Noah keeping quiet the whole time until he finally said, "I'm sorry you had to witness that." Then he went into silence again.

[Cham]

Ven held tightly to Noah's hand and arm as they walked side by side, to angry with herself and his parents to be carried. "Please, dont appologize to me, i began all this bullshit. I should have stayed hidden, i shouldnt have accepted to come inside. I knew what i looked like" Rolling her eyes at herself, she added "And i shouldnt have yelled, or sworn... Or tried to rip their heads off. Im sorry baby"

[Lotus]

Noah stayed silent, he heard her words but he couldn't bring himself to say anything. When his parents ripped into him he became a shell, his former personality forgotten until he could get himself out of the funk he was in.

Eventually they made their way to the beach and Noah made Ravenna sit down in the sand. He kissed the top of her head before heading off to the group. "Sorry about this mornings training session guys I had an emergency to attend to." He stated in a monotone voice. The idiots had left the group, but there was still a snicker from one of his so-called followers. Noah's eyes narrowed and he grabbed the kid by the shirt. "Shut the fuck up. Now run two laps of the beach." The kid look startled, "NOW!" And so the kid ran. He turned back to the rest of the group.

The only girl was giving him a confused a sad look, probably hearing from Moni about how the only time he acted out properly was when something bad had gone wrong usually to do with his parents. He shook his head and got back to the task at hand. "Group training today. Get in groups of four, stat!" They all grouped together and he nodded his head. "Now, in turns each group is going to form a plan and attack me. No weapons, just hand-to-hand combat like you've been taught."

He looked around the groups and pointed to the one with the girl in. "Your up first. You have a minute to devise a plan."

[Cham]

Ravenna watched, masking her surprise by pulling her knees up to her face. She hadnt wanted to, but she knew she needed to, especially around this lot. She took a self assessment. Stopped ignoring the pain. She could now feel the ache in her sides, it wasnt excruciating anymore, but it would explain why the slightest touches sent waves of pain into her skull. Speaking of which, she let her hands wander up to her head, gently using two fingers to search. Finding only small cuts, and a rather small bruise, which was quite surprising, and said a lot. Those girls didnt want to kill her. They just wanted to hurt her. A soft smile came to her lips. Perhaps there was still hope for Mac...

Ven put the thoughts out of her mind for the moment and watched Noah began to take his stance. Biting her lower lip as she watched him pounce on the kids. The first group was valiant and fought well, but it wasnt enough against Noah.

[Lotus]

Noah was angry and upset. He knew he'd screwed up his past and he knew his parents despised him for doing it. After all, as well as taking the innocence of so many girls and ruining Moni's life there wasn't a lot to like. He wondered what exactly Ravenna saw in him, when his own family could see nothing but darkness.

He was a little harder on the kids than he normally was, but it did help them step up their game. The first group had a good plan and they fought well, but it didn't help them. If Noah was in a better state of mind maybe they would have had more of a chance, but he was relentless. The last kid went down and he nodded his head. "Good job. Next group!" He called and went at it again and again until all the groups had had a turn, exhausting themselves in the process.

[Cham]

Ven watched intently as the few morons who had miraculously pulled through the day before stood in their own group of four. Her eyes narrowed and she watched their salacious grins as two of the boys managed to knock Noah on his ass. Immediately she stood, and surged in there when one of them dragged his blade over Noah;s forearm.

Sailing through the air, she grabbed the boy round the waist, pulling out her own dagger in the process, flipping up so her knees pinned his shoulders down, her knife pressing to his throat enough to draw a thin line of blood. "This is practice you bastard, we dont draw blood here" She seethed into his face before feeling strong hands lifting her off. She twisted, shouting out in both pain and aggrivation. But the body ducked, luckily enough, for she wouldve decapitated Noah had he not. His eyes were wide, and she could feel the adrenaline slowly coming out of her veins, exhausting her.

She shook her head, and turned back to the kid "Watch the shadows boy, im always lurking" Before spitting down on him, pure hate in her face. The group was silent as she turned from them, and began to limp her way home.

[Lotus]

Noah could not believe what was happening. He was used to some of the kids getting carried away, and being cut wasn't his main worry. Then to see Ravenna going crazy on the boy who'd drawn his blood was a sight to see. The last time he saw her fight, it was hot. He'd gotten turned on from it. This time it panicked him. She was in pain and doing such a thing would not help her heal. Besides, the episode with his parents meant he wasn't thinking straight about anything.

After he'd pulled her off, and nearly having his neck cut he placed her on the ground. The boy was just getting up. He knew Ravenna was forcing herself to walk home but he wouldn't let it; she wouldn't make it. "Alright. Practice over. Meet tomorrow, same time. We'll do something a little less aggressive and more on stamina. Got it? Okay, dismissed." With that they all turned and walked off. Noah ran a hand over his face, sighing softly to himself just as he heard a clearing of the throat. The one girl in the group, the best in the group, had stayed behind and she timidly looked up at him.

"I'm sorry about your parents Noah. I hear things from Moni about what they say to you and how they act. I'm also sorry for what's happened to Ravenna, I can see it in your eyes how much it's hurting you." She walked closer and wrapped her arms around his torso before you pulling away quickly. With that she turned and walked away while Noah still stood there, stunned.

He turned around and jogged to catch up with Ravenna. He found her struggling and breathing hard against a wall. He wrapped his arms around her and picked her up bridal style before walking home in silence.

[Cham]

Ven could hear Noah talking, but forced herself to face forwards. She couldnt pay attention to them right now. She had to put all her energy into getting herself home. Unfortunately, dragging her feet through the sand exhausted her, and despite taking the fastest route home, she found herself out of energy not many minutes later. Her fingers gripping into the brick wall just to try and hold herself up. Praying to find someone with an ounce of water to share.

But before she could even struggle to think the full thought, there he was. She knew the feel of his body against hers "No" She murmured, but he wasnt having any of it. Besides, it was ridiculous for her to think that she could actually make it home herself. She wasnt even half way there, and completely put out. In the ten minutes it took Noah to carry her back, Ven was dozing in his arms. This was her favourite place to be...

As Noah walked up the steps, she woke, eyes slightly blurry, and mumbling incoherently before bringing her hands to her eyes to rub them "Put me down" Ven whispered, wiggling her way out of his arms and onto her feet. She felt so much better, her brain having the time to shut down and deal with the hormones and stress. Her hands rested on Noahs chest, and she let her forehead join them, leaning against him for a moment, planting a tender kiss there before standing up, looking at the jagged cut on his forearm and frowning "Let me clean you up?" She whispered, taking his hand and feebly pulling him up to their room where the first aid kit was currently residing.

She pointed him to sit on the bed whilist she dragged over the lighter of the chairs, plopping down onto that, breathing a little harder. When Noah tried to move away, she pressed her palms to his chest "Please... Let me do this"
