New Beginnings (Mai and Cam)

[Cham]

She smiled against his back, nuzzling softly. "I wouldnt either. Warts and all" She whispered, referring to the small bits that really had gone wrong that afternoon.

But after a few small minutes, he turned and held her against him. Kissing her as though she was with holding air from him. "Nothing.... To be... Sorry... about" It took several gasps between him pressing his lips to hers for her to be able to form a sentance. But his lips shut her up, and she felt something she had never really felt before in her stomach. Pressing back against him, her body molded to his. Desire blooming somewhere within her. She knew she loved this boy with all of herself... But did he?

[Lotus]

His hands moved down to her waist and he pulled her closer to him, feeling like he could try and do right by making her feel like she was always wanted. To make her happier than ever. The kiss deepened under his control, and when he broke away he was short of breath with his heart racing and his chest heaving.

"I hope that starts to make up for everything..." He pushes her away from him slightly and takes her hand again. "Let's go back up. It's cold in here..." Why couldn't he still look in her eyes properly?

[Cham]

A deep breath, nearly a gasp as his hands slid lower, pulling her torso flush against him. Tipping her head upward, his lips overtook hers. Her heart beating faster every second. She wanted more and more with ever moment that passed. Until he broke away.

Both breathing heavily as the spell broke. She took a half step back, and gave him a small smile. She whispered "Youve already given me more than i could ever ask for..." His hand intertwined with hers, leading her once again to his bedroom. As the adrenaline left her body, her steps dragged more and more.

Reaching his room and literally flopping onto his bed. His shirt slipping halfway up her stomach. She couldnt even be bothered to fix it. His pants hung low on her hips, and only the thought of her bony pelvis showing to him made her adjust. She shut her eyes and just breathed for a moment.

[Lotus]

Isaac watched her from his doorway and couldn't believe how lucky he was to find her that day. Who knew the state she'd have been in if he hadn't. She needed someone to look after her and know that she was there for her. If only he could truly give her the love she needed then it would all be perfect.

He remembered the plate of food he'd made for her and ran back downstairs. He grabbed it off the counter from where he'd left it; kissing her had made him forget pretty much everything. Once he'd pulled away though it all hit him hard again. He ran back up the stairs and into his bedroom, shutting the door behind him. "Just in case you wanted more, y'a know."

He went and sat on the edge of the bed and out of the corner of his eye he watched her stomach moving up and down as her breathing slowed. In a weird way it was relaxing; it helped calm himself too.

[Cham]

The only movement Gia made when Isaac left was to crawl under the covers and curl into a ball. She was so tired. And bed so warm. She dozed until he walked back in, sitting next to her. She felt his eyes on her, but didn't really move.

After several minutes she let self concious, sitting halfway up and his hand. Pulling him down with her. Curling up into his chest her breath hot on his neck, and melted into his arms. It felt so natural.

[Lotus]

He pulled her into his arms and stroked her hair with his thumb. He kissed the top of her head, but his mind wouldn't calm down. She was there, still loving him when he couldn't say those simple words. He'd had the moment and now he was more confused than before. Things were going great.

He heard her breathing steady as she got comfortable and he stopped stroking her hair to hold the hand that was laying on his chest. It struck him as odd that this should all feel so easy and right when it had only been a day. Why did he feel that they had known each other a long time? He just couldn't put his finger on it. It was going to be a long night anyway, so he'd have time to think it over.

[Cham]

Via breathed easily against him. Warm, cocooned in his arms. His gentle caress soothing. She safely into an easy, peaceful slumber quickly. Resting against his body. body Her dreams were short, sweet memories. Strangely they all included Isaac. A small look in class... a smile at lunch... his warm hand in hers. her... passionate lips...

[Lotus]

Soon Gia was asleep so Isaac untangled himself from her and got up off the bed. He wasn't in the right framed of mind to sleep. Too many thoughts were playing all at once. Why does it feel like he's known her for a long time? Why does it feel so right with her? Why was he such an idiot for stumbling over those words? And especially, does he actually love her?

He walks over to his window and clutches the window sill. It's going to be one long night. He turns around and looks at Gia asleep, curled up in his sheets and in his clothes. She is one amazing human being. He sinks down to the floor and rests his head against the wall. If only he could sleep...

[Cham]

Gia lay in the bed, dead to the world. Nearly an hour into her peaceful sleep, the bed cooled. Although the blankets were comforting, there was something missing. And her subconscious noticed it...

Her dreams turned to nightmares, Replaying her being kicked out. The nasty words her mother had snarled at her. Her fathers scorn. Her brothers terrified face in the back. Then the chill of the wind that first night as she curled up in an alley way like a beggar. Terrified and alone. Then sickeningly the scene changed. There was a crowd. The people parted slowly. Some she had to push out of the way to see the scene that made her blood run cold. Issac smirking down at herself, who was actually laying on the ground. Beaten and bruised. Several other boys stood with him as he spit on her, jerking her to a standing position, then slapping her face hard enough to make her fall back to the ground. The crowd around her cheered, and she woke screaming.

Her eyes jerked open and she yelped, arms flailing, and she fell off the far side of the bed, scooting backwards. Her chest heaving, and heart beating furiously. She took several frantic breaths, trying to calm herself before the tears flowed. She tried to stop them as she saw Issac looking at her confused. But she couldnt. So she curled up into a ball. Hiding from the world. And let it out. Sobbing.

[Lotus]

Isaac jumped when he heard a yelp and he stood up instantly. He looked to the bed but Gia wasn't there; instead she was at the side, curled up next to the wall absolutely balling her eyes out. It takes him a while to come to terms with what she's just done, and he slowly moves himself over to her.

He kneels down and rests a hand on her shoulder. "Gia...? Talk to me..." He reaches out and moves her arms away from her face. "Gia?"

[Cham]

Gi felt so utterly alone... There was no one there for what felt like a eternity... Then a gentle hand on her shoulder, trying to pry her arms away, and her words out. But she didnt want to speak... She just took several deep shuddering breaths, shaking like a leaf.

It took several minutes for her to calm down enough to tell Issac anything. Any by then she develope hiccups that made her small frame jump. "It -Hic- Was nothing -Hic- Just a bad -Hic- dream..." She roughly rubbed the tears from her eyes, but kept herself sitting on the floor. the salt from her eyes turned them red along with the rubbing on her cheeks, her cheekbones feeling raw from the abrasion.

[Lotus]

Isaac smiled softly and placed a comforting hand on her cheek. "It's okay. You're safe, always safe." He leant in and kissed her forehead before scooping her up in his arms and taking her back to his bed. He set her down gently and sat there stroking her face with his thumb.

"You should try and get back to sleep. Don't let bad dreams get to you. There's nothing there to hurt you and there's no one here to hurt you either." He smiled softly down at her and turned away.

[Cham]

She leaned into his touch. So comforting. So familiar... She took a deep breath. His scent warm and almost like cinnamon. He laid her down gently, and took his hands away. Frowning he watched her turn and walk several steps away. She sat up, crossing her legs. "Please tell me whats wrong?" She whispered "I hate seeing you so angry with yourself... And i cant help but feel its my fault..."

[Lotus]

He shook his head and smiled over to her whilst walking back and sitting back down next to her. "There's nothing wrong with me Gia and nothing has ever been your fault." He kissed her forehead and pushed her back down again. "You need sleep, so close those eyes of yours and loosen up." He trailed his hand up her arm in comfort.

"Forget the dreams. Forget me. Forget everything. Just sleep beautiful." He smiled softly down to her. "I'll be right here okay?" No way was he telling her everything that was going on in his head right now. Especially when he didn't really know himself.

[Cham]

Gia took his hand, gripping it tightly. She didnt want him to leave... Silently she looked up at him "But you need to sleep too..." She whined softly. Sincerely worried about him. She kissed the back of his hand, looking at it intently. Drawing little patterns on the back of it with her free hand.

"I dont ever want to forget you" She mumbled. Her eyelids tugging down. She really was exhausted. But she forced herself to stay awake to make sure he was alright. What kind of a person was she if she didnt take care of him after all he had done for her?

[Lotus]

He chuckled softly and smiled down to her. "I'm sure I will soon enough. Besides, I'm the one that has had a bed for the last month. I think you need it more than me." He smiled and lent down to kiss her lips softly.

"You don't have to forget me, I mean, how could you?" He grinned devilishly and sat back up. "Just go to sleep Gia okay? I'll still be here in the morning." She really was struggling to stay awake; he could see that now.

[Cham]

She smiled softly and shrugged at his first comment "I dont mind... I could sleep on the floor if you rather..." But was silenced by his kiss. So gentle and tender. her fingers running softly through his hair. But it ended all too soon. She craved another. But knew she couldnt be satisfied. He had pur her under some sort of spell. She knew him. He was so familiar to her. His habits, and thoughts. Facial expressions even... It was so weird. But she KNEW him. There was no doubt about that.

He moved back, and made a lame joke that she chuckled at regardless. Loving every word he said. Loving him no matter what the content of his words were. Though still forcing herself to stay awake, watching him "Please sleep with me?" She whispered, closing her eyes. Feeling her cheeks blush. She wanted his closeness. It was so familiar, natural, and comforting. She couldnt get enough of it.

[Lotus]

He turned his head to slowly look at her an brushed his thumb over her cheek. Of course he wasn't going to properly sleep with her so he just nodded his head numbly and laid down next to her. He pulled her tightly into his strong arms and kissed the top of her head.

"Now will you go to sleep?" He lifted her hand up and entwined his fingers with hers as he kissed the back of it. He might sleep with her, but that didn't mean he was going to fall asleep.

[Cham]

He motioned to climb into the bed, and she curled op next to him, feeling him shuffle her a little closer. then take her hand. She finally breathed easily. Nodding her head slowly. She barily heard his question before she was gone.

Peaceful once again. Little clips of what had happened thus far. Their first kiss. Laying on the ground in the wood. Little memories she treasured.

[Lotus]

He watched her as she drifted off again. This time he wouldn't leave the bed. He'd make sure she felt safe all night long and make sure no more nightmares came to scare the living daylights out of her. He remembered that terror that had been in her eyes though and he wasn't entirely sure why. It was all too familiar and this familiar thing was starting to scare him.

[Cham]

She slept soundly. The heat from his body warming her throughout the night when she usually froze. It was so nice to feel safe while she slept. Guarded from any harm. But why did it feel so familiar. Little flicks came to her while she slept.

Her subconcious taking her back years and years to a little boy she played with... She couldnt have been older than 4 or 5 at the time... But there he was still the same. A nearly identical face, although younger, to the boy who lay next to her. His eyes however remained the same. Solomn, but playful. The only new emotion was the passion. She had seen him determined. But never as desirous as when he kissed her... His body so familiar to her except for his lips which admittedly... She was enjoying exploring. Flashes of their past shown under her eyelids. Was he aware that she was who she was? Or did he assume she was no one at all?

Waking to find the morning sun kissing the horizion, brilliant pinks and oranges setting fire to the night black. Looking up to see his eyelids closed, and his breathing deep and even. She froze, hoping to let him sleep a little longer. But he stirred, his tired eyes opening. Her smile shone up at him as she kissed his lips so gently. "Good morning Sweetheart" She whispered

[Lotus]

Isaac had just managed to fall asleep again and the next thing he knew he was woken up by Gia. He'd dozed off a couple of times during the night, but always awoke suddenly; knowing he didn't want to sleep in case she needed him. This time he'd probably slept the longest, but it wasn't a deep sleep, it was light and as soon as she stirred he stirred too.

He pulled her into his arms as she kissed him and he kissed her back. "Good morning beautiful." he whispered back. The sun was pouring in through his window, illuminating her face and making her glow. It made her look even more gorgeous. He smiled and the first thing he ask was, "Did you finally sleep well?" It was all he hoped for. To have let her have a peaceful nights sleep.

[Cham]

She bit her lower lip and nodded softly "Because of you? Yes. I slept wonderfully. Thank you" Kissing his nose this time. A small peck.

Her new-found knowledge stirred in her stomach... She wanted to tell him what she had figured out, but she wanted to be 100 percent sure it was him. So she asked a simple question. "Issac" He raised his eyebrows slightly, and she shut her own eyes to ask the question "Did you ever know a little girl name Giavanna when you were younger? Think maybe when you were four to... ten maybe?" She gripped his hand tight "She had very long, very dark brown hair. Dark brown eyes. And was constantly loosing her teeth" She giggled lightly, remembering. "And she always wore purple short overalls because they were easier to play in..."

[Lotus]

He watched her, as if she was replaying a memory. Giavanna, well wasn't that Gia's name? He creased his eyebrows together as he tried to piece together what she was asking him. He tried thinking back. Tried imagining himself playing with a little girl of her description.

In the deep depths of his memories he saw a little girl with dark, flowing hair bouncing around in his back yard. They were playing together and she was, yes, in purple overalls. She was running along, they were playing tag. He caught the little girl and called out. When the little girl turned to face him he concentrated on the face. That face...

Isaac's eyes flew open and he wrapped his arms around her neck as he rolled her over so he lay on top of her. "Giavanna! I knew it felt right with you! I knew I knew you! How could I forget?" He looked down at her, smiling. "Giavanna it is you." He smiled a little larger and placed his lips to hers. With his eyes closed all those memories came back, but why had he forgotten.

Then he stopped kissing her and pushed away from her. That's how he remembered the terrified look in her eyes. "I'm so sorry..." He managed to choke out.

[Cham]

All at once everything clicked together in his mind. He was so excited, pulling her against him, and talking, grinning, she laughed and held him close. He pushed her a way a little, and brought his lips to hers. A happy, joyful kiss, And she kissed him back with enthusiasm. She had finally found her childhood best friend...

But he drew away, horrified at something. She had long forgiven and forgotten the things that had happened in her past, and she tried to clutch him close. "No no no no no... its all fine. Its ok" She whispered
