She had laid her head on my chest. She seemed to really like it there. She leaned up and kissed. me. I knew she was trying to tell me something but I couldn't understand what. I don't think I ever would. Maybe it was that she loved me too. She then leaned down and buried her hea din my chest. I pulled her back up to me, careful not to hurt her with the scars on her back. I layed her on my chest, her back in the air. I pulled her in and kissed her roughly. This was as good as I had ever felt in a long time. After being a desirable with a stupid regular.. It felt nice to finally forget the world. For maybe only a moment.

Ally felt Zak pull her so she was onto of him. Ally kissed him back trying not to wince with her back. Ally pulled away and rested her head on his shoulder. She wanted more but Zak was nice. She had a feeling he wouldn't do anything without knowing he wouldn't hurt her. Ally had payed attention when she was in the sign langue class enough to learn how to say 'i love you.' Ally sat up and signed it with a smile. Pointing to herself then making a heart and then pointing to Zak. She did love him. She would always love him. She didn't care that he was a desirable. She loved him for him. She hated what the capitol might do but she would worry about that when the time came. Right now she has to focus on Zak and only him.

I smiled as she leaned up and kissed me back. She pulled away and layed her head on my chest. She knew I wasn't going to do anything that could get either one of us hurt or into more trouble than we were probably in right now. She sat up and signed the simplest "I love you" to me. I knew that since she couldn't tell me herself, that was the only way she could accomplish it. I didn't blame her. I would do the same. I just pulled her back in and kissed her as if I had never kissed anyone before.

Ally wanted to tell Zak she loved him. The two kissed and Ally was tempted to pull her shirt off. She had put it back on when Zak left to go get her that jacket. Ally kissed Zak like she meant it. Because she did. She wanted to give him all she had. She loved him, truly and she believed that he would never leave her. True he might have somebody back in his District. But she would never have to worry about her. Ally might as well be dead. She has nobody now but Zak. Ally pulled away just for a second so she could look into his eyes. Oh how she would miss them when he went back to his District.

I smiled when she kissed me. I knew she had put everything into it. I knew she wanted to go back to the District with me. I knew she would miss me. She would be the only one. But she couldn't come with me. Not when I had Sage there. How could I explain Sage to Ally and vice versa? I could explain Ally as a charity case and Sage as a customer. But I knew they would figure it out and say something to me about it. Then I would be back to facing the voices and nightmares alone again. I couldn't do that. Nor did I really want to. I kissed her back until Sage just became a memory. But it wouldn't be one for long.

Ally kept kissing Zak. She wanted to be able to talk or make a noise but her stupid self got in trouble long ago. If she would have never done that she would not be with Zak. Why couldn't they have just left her there but put her name in more times and send her to the games. Wouldn't that be easier then cutting her tongue out. Ally pulled away and opened her eyes. Her eyes locked with his and she blushed. She wanted him to stay, but she knew he had another life in the Districts. She had to let him go sooner or later. She would miss him. He saved her from her master and she had to thank him for that.

He lightly pulled away, careful not to hurt her, and swung his legs over the side of the bed. He stared straight ahead, trapped in a daze, thinking of Sage back in his District. Oh beautiful, perfect, legal Sage. Yeah, he loved her but he loved Ally too. He just didnt know what he wanted. He always played on instinct, never worrying about what it would do to other people. But now, he was terrified of hurting the 2 people he cared about most. The only 2 people he actually had left to care.
