Montella basically snarled, picking up the chair she was still sitting in even after most of the Capitolites had retreated into their homes for the night and threw it across the Square. It only flew a few rows ahead of her and made large crashing noises as it clattered and fell into a pile with the other chairs she had managed to knock over. She slammed her hand into one of the chairs next to her and finally just let her body collapse to its knees. She didn't care anymore if she looked weak; her tributes weren't around right now... one had just died in the Bloodbath even. She had stopped watching it when District 5 had basically disappeared from the cameras. She cursed to herself quietly as she laid her had against the chair in front of where she had fallen. She just lost another group of tributes.
Montella continued to curse as she leaned her weight back and let herself fall lightly into a sitting position with her knees to her chest. Her clothed arms wrapped around her legs that were in black slack like pants. She sighed deeply and closed her eyes as she felt her sweater protest the movement of her body to hug her knees closer. "Stupid sweater... Why did she make me wear this again...?" Her mutters were very quiet, hoping not to be heard anymore. ------------------------------------- WC: 235... ish

Michael HaelStrom, District 1 Victor: A chuckled echod across the room as Michael heard the oh-so-familiar noice of what was an angry mentor. With a swig of a bottle of wine, Michael walked over to Montella and held his drink out to her. "here.. have a swig!"Michael took from his big-ass coat another long bottle of wine and opened it up. "Or, if the lady would like something a little more posh?" Michael chuckled a little as he offered the unopened bottle to the fellow mentor before sitting downbeside her. He continued to drink from his already opened bottle as he readied himself for one complex conversation, one hell of a task for any drunk man to do much less a depressed drunk man. Michael looked up at the screen as the bloodbath was checked over. "Ahh.. i see. Lost tributes already?" He chuckled. "You're not alone there.. i'm amazed my guy can still walk! The useless bugger does all this training all for a prostitute girl back home and can't even put up a fight against a couple of puffs with arrows!"He continued to chuckle before taking another giant mouthful. This was gonna be a pretty funny conversation WORDS: about 210 ish

Montella looked up as she heard someone approaching. She made a bit of a face at the smell of alcohol, but she couldn't say she disliked the taste since she had never tried it before. She couldn't help but take the bottle he offered her. She more of smelled it a moment before hesitantly taking a swing. There must have been something good about it since Michael was so interested in keeping it around to keep his mind off his Tributes. He always lost at least one in the Games she assumed; even if District 1 was one of the most popular one to win.
The wine gave her a slight fuzzy feeling as she took another drink; Montella had never drank before so this was a first for her. She looked up at him and simply listened, not wanting to speak a word yet. Once he finished, she looked down at the bottle of wine given to her and took another drink. She liked this buzz of sorts that was coming along with drinking it.
"At least yours has something going for him to work for to get back home apparently. That boy of mine had a sister or girlfriend to get home to and well... he was the first death of the Games. I haven't even seen the girl move from her plate. She'll die from being frozen or the mines going off around her - again no fight." Her words about her tributes were a bit muttered in they way they sounded, but she made sure that Michael would still be able to hear her. "Where'd the District 5 smarts go? Or was I just the only District 5 to win over the crowd to win?" Her light brown eyes drifted away from the place they had focused on to look up at the older Victor's.
She half wished he wouldn't answer her question, but it was beginning to hurt more than she thought it would to be losing kids each year. Montella hadn't know her District partner and she had been the one to take the poor boys life - out of mercy though and not in the cold blood. He had been bleeding out basically everywhere after the District Three had rigged and exploding crossbow of some sort that lodged itself in her partners hip and went boom. He wasn't going to live and she wasn't going to risk someone else finding him. She apologized to him and used the dagger she kept around to slit his throat after moving him to safety. Montella shivered slightly as she remembered doing that to her partner, but it was for his own good. It was better than dying from an infection that would have settled in or dying after he was attached to her for saving his ass. ------------------------------------- WC: 470

Faye Chamberline
Thoughts: hope you dont mind Tags: montella, micheal Muse: good Outfit: click!
All night, hearing voices telling me that I should get some sleep Because tomorrow might be good for something. Faye looked down at the slip of paper in her hand while the other talentedly swirled a glass of brown liquid in the other without watching. She sat with her legs crossed on a cushioned bar stool with deep red leather seating. Her golden eyes narrowed at the slip of paper, which read "Montella" in cursive. She didnt need to ask which one, she already knew. The Capitol was making her taget other victors because she'd started dating Wyatt. Of course, Wyatt was too innocent for people to punish, too liked by the people, so they made Faye punish herself instead. She crumpled the paper and shoved it into the pocket of her skirt and downed her glass of liqiour.
After the bartender refilled her glass, Faye spun around facing the bar. Her gold coloured eyes scanning the area, inside booths, out the windows, even to windows leading to other bars and resturants. However, she didnt have to search long. She spotted Montella standing with Micheal Haelstorm outside. She took a quick swig and set her glass down on the bar top, simultaniously slipping off her stool. Her high heeled boots clicked softly on the stone floor of the bar as she walked towards the door. She pushed it open and leaned against it, one ankle crossing over the other. "Would you two mind if I bought you a drink?", she said winking at Montella. No matter what she answered, Faye would have to find some way into her bed with her life on the line. Hold on, I'm feeling like im headed for a break down, and I don't know why |

Michael HaelStrom, District 1: Michael took one last swig before noticing what looked like a familiar gorgeous face. "Faye! Faye Chamberline, victor of the.. 16th games? 16th? I think it was 16th, that was the year i had a district 1 with buck teeth. Oh god, you should've seen him smile with hope. i'm gonna be the next true victor, just you wait!" Michael started chuckling, a chuckle which reminded him of an old man. Michael was only.. 30? was he even 30? felt 60 but he must have been 24.. He chuckled once more before taking another swig and standing up. "If you're offering, i would love another drink, sweetheart!" He grinned at her with a grin on his face. it's funny.. Michael thought to himself. Faye looks just like my district partner, Mandy.. or was it Mindy? Michael suddenly drooped back down the wall as he focused. i.. i forgot her name.. Michael felt this realisation hit him hard, harder than ever before. how could i ever possibly forget her.. her name? Michael's face turned cold, his smile lost to the wind as a sudden change came over him. He swallowed another mouthful before frowning. He turned to the two of them, uninterested now as he looked straight through them, uncaring while he disappeared into the background. notes: yeah, erm.. i think i messed this up but i felt pressed for time so yeah.. enjoy lol

Montella looked up from the ground at the girl standing in the door way that called out to them. She was already getting tipsy from the alcohol being given to her from Micheal, but she wasn't done drinking. She slowly stood from the ground, listening to Michael as he spoke before she answered Faye. "I won't turn down a drink."
The drink was beginning to catch up with her and she couldn't help herself when she stared at the female who had offered her and Micheal a drink. She didn't know her name other than when Micheal said it. Her dark brown eyes followed back to Micheal and that's when she noticed Michael's breakdown of some sort.
Montella stumbled a bit as she took the couple of steps closer to Micheal. "What's wrong Michael?" She asked, tilting her head a bit as she did. --------------------- WC: 155

All night, hearing voices telling me that I should get some sleep Because tomorrow might be good for something. Faye smiled and shook her head at Micheal, walking up to the pair. "It was the twenty second games My Dear Watson." Her eyes seemed to glimmer as she shared the joke of an old movie refrence from before Panem was even founded. The movie could only be seen in the capitol, sadly. She rab her fingers through her hair and turned to Montella. "Great, I would love the company."
That was when Faye noticed Micheal backing away. She heard Montella speak, asking what was wrong. She placed a hand on the other girls arm, almost as if to stop her. "He can... get like this sometimes. I dont know if you know that or not..." Hold on, I'm feeling like im headed for a break down, and I don't know why |

Michael HaelStrom, District 1: "Why.. why can't i remember her name?"
Michael swallowed as he sat down on the floor, feeling a tear seep from his already reconstructed face as he looked down at the bottle.
" Why.. WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER IT! " Michael stood in anger and threw his bottle across the room, watching it shatter in a mass of colorful glass and blood-red wine. Michael's face showed little anger, more frustration.
" Goddammit! Why can't i remember her fucking name!" Michael felt his rage building, the fury of years of alchohol abuse, depression and regret in his life building up, overflowing from his mind as he brought forth a bottle hidden within his jacket.
He drunk the whole bottle. All of it, a mixture of wine and brandy somehow able to be swallowed by this man as he stood there drinking himself to oblivion.
Or rather, unconsciousness as he collapsed onto the table, barely able to utter a sentence.
Mandy.. that was it.. Mandy Becknson.."
With a last giggle, Michael passed out on the table as a tear seeped from his last unhappy attempt at a laugh. Why did he have to survive and live with this torment all his life?
Notes: hooray, just trolling the thread for a bit yknow how it is lol

Montella looked up at Faye as she spoke to Michael, correcting him. That's when she noticed that Faye had been the one to win the Games directly before her. She didn't watch the old Games Videos like her partner, but she realized it was a deeper thought in her mind that she couldn't focus on. Shaking herself clear of her thoughts, she felt Faye touch her arm.
Montella stopped approaching Micheal when she felt the touch because she wasn't sure on who to be talking to anymore. She was concerned over her new found acquaintance... or was he a soon to be friend? She didn't know, but she was concerned none the less over the older male in front of her on the ground.
She felt her body jump as the bottle from Micheal's' hand flew against the wall not to far from them. She just stood a bit in shock as she watched his actions. Montella remembered the first time she had 'broke' so to speak. It was much worse than this, likely minor, occurrence as she was sure his first 'break' was. She had managed to get herself sent back to the Capitol for more surgery than she needed from when she came home from the Games.
Montella stared at Michael's unconscious body for a few more moments; She wasn't sure what to do. In turn, her deep brown eyes turned to Faye looking for help. All she wanted was to know what she needed to do now; She felt utterly helpless in her attempt to formulate some plan to assist Micheal's unconscious being. ------------------------ WC: 274

Faye Chamberline
Thoughts: hope you dont mind Tags: montella, micheal Muse: good Outfit: click!
All night, hearing voices telling me that I should get some sleep Because tomorrow might be good for something. Faye sighed and turned on her heel, walking towards the bar. She leaned down and placed her elbows on the cool surface of the bar, allowing her chest to almost spill out of her jacket. Her golden eyes flashed as she pulled her hair out of the way from the view. "Do you mind if I use your phone?"
Faye had no trouble getting the bartender to agree to let her go to the back area of the bar to use the phone, even though it was against most rules of pubs. She put her hands into the pockets of her skirt, exposing her stomach even further as she walked infront of the tender. She wasn't wearing a top underneath her jacket either, just a lace black bra which was ecposed due to the low neckline of the leather piece of clothing. The laws of capital society said that if you got it, flaunt it, and if not then who the hell cares? Then again the capitol forced her to stay as sexually appealing as possible, finding ways to punish her if her clothing covered too much skin.
Faye pushed the thoughts out of her mind as she reached the phone, batting off the bartender who hovered, almost panting like a dog. Her fingers quickly dialed the number to the training center and her voice demanded that Micheal be picked up from the bar and taken back to his apartment to be thuroughly cleaned. By the time she dodged the hovering bartender, the employees were already there, beginning to cart off the drunken victor of District 1. She sighed and ordered two glasses of rum, and handed one to Montella. "You alright?" Hold on, I'm feeling like im headed for a break down, and I don't know why |

Montella simply stood there still as everything happened. She quietly sat the bottle down Michael had given her and stepped back away from him. She stood silently back at where she had original stood when she had followed towards Micheal but Faye had stopped her from doing. Her hands drifted to her arms as she thought she felt a chill run up her spine.
Her hands drifted up and down her fully clothed arms along the soft material of her sweater. At first she didn't register Faye's presence return to her side and she didn't turn to move. "I'm so fucked..." She thought as she slowly turned and nearly ran into Faye. Thankfully, she stopped herself from even making a step and left Faye untouched.
Montella simply stared at her blankly for a moment, feeling the slightly warmed glass be put in her hand. Her opposite hand moved to cup the other half of the cup in her palms. She looked at the dark liquid, unsure if she wanted to drink more. She was still feeling the first onslaught of drunkenness from the wine Micheal had given her previously. She started to speak, but no words came out.
She didn't know what had suddenly silenced her. Her mind was gone blank to what was going on to some extent as the buzz continued to impair her way of thought. Montella looked up at Faye again and tilted her head as if asking what she was suppose to do, but she didn't speak a word as her eyes left and looked back at the black liquid in her hands. Faye Chamberline
Thoughts: Tags: montella Muse: sick Outfit: click!
All night, hearing voices telling me that I should get some sleep Because tomorrow might be good for something. Faye frowned as Montella stared up at her, the silence followed as a sort of tension was struck between them. Something was bothering her, that much was obvious, but since she wasn't a mind reader, she couldnt tell. She set down her glass on a nearby table and hugged the taller girl. "Hey. I'm not going to say that everythings going to be okay, because then I'd be lying. But things have a way of working themselves out for better or for worse. They'll get Micheal back to his apartment and cleaned up if thats what your worried about..."
Faye didnt know what else to say, she didnt want to ramble on like Wyatt tended to, but she felt that Montella needed some comforting words. Hold on, I'm feeling like im headed for a break down, and I don't know why |
