Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. I'd finished work for the day. It had been tedious and something I hated doing. I loved designing clothes, but this time of year I resented it. They were all for the people who wanted to look good for the Games. It was sick! I'd grown up in a family that was so into the Games they helped create it; my lfather being a Gamemaker, my mother being an architect for the arenas and my brother becoming a minor Gamemaker. It was just all wrong. But in a way, I was part of the Games too. I had to sit and watch them and design clothes for the idiots in the place I called home. So, naturally my mood got worse and worse throughout the day. I'm now sitting on a bench in the middle of the square wondering whether to go back to my newly refurbished, high-tech flat or whether to stay outside for as long as possible. I look at the tattoo on my wrist and choose my path. I need to say something, I need to stand against this world I live in. All I want is a different life and world, is that too much to ask for? I stand up on the bench, take a deep breath and ball up my fists. It's now or never. Make yourself heard. Rae Odell:Say It

Jared Iron SHOOT TO THRILL! Jared felt something wrong before he could place it. He'd wanted to sort himself for the next few months, needed to have himself appear the way he should. After all, it's not like a gamemaker could be seen not celebrating that which they spent so much time creating, hmm? But when he reached the place, Jared had been too late. The stylist shop had shut down and so he figured, after a quick glance through a window, that it'd be best to get some food instead. Something small, maybe schwarma would be nice. He shrugged as he walked off. But then he noticed her. Corner of his eye, clearly stressed as she stood up on the bench. And it only took him that second to know he had to stop her. Jared leapt forth and took hold of the ladie's balled fist before pulling her down. "Emma! How nice it is to see you again, what brings you down here?" With a grin, Jared took the girl under his arm and, before she could question him, rushed off with her making pointless conversational sentences. "Emma, emma emma have you seriously been that busy that you couldn't visit some time soon? i mean honestl-" As they reached the corner, Jared gently pushed her against an alleyway wall. "What do you think you're doing?" With a frown Jared looked into her eyes. She seemed distraught, less sad more.. angry. He sighed..

Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. It had all happened really quickly. One minute I was standing on the bench read to make myself heard and the next I was being taken away by some man calling me Emma. At first I thought he was crazy; confusing me with someone else. I mean, the Capitol had their fair share of crazies; it was even run by one! But when he pushed me up against the alleyway wall I knew his motive was to stop me from speaking up. But how did he know that's what I was going to do. As he looked me in the eye I was trying to figurr everything out. Trying to understand why he stopped me and to figure out how to tell him. Then I realised who he was! He was a Gamemaker. I couldn't tell him. Instead I shrugged my shoulders and said, "None of your business. I don't know you, so I'm not going to pour my heart out alright?" I wanted to leave. To move away from him and get back to, well, anything but this. I hated him for doing what he did, but I was stuck. Rae Odell:Say It

With a frown, Jared allowed her movement. She instantly accepted it and attempted to walk before Jared spoke. "I already know what you wanted to do.. because i was going to do the same." Jared let out a breath as he turned towards her. He watched and waited for her reaction as he smiled a little. He remembered when he had done precisely the same, on the same bench no less, and had been taken away by the peacekeepers and thrown into his house before he could say anymore.
He had been lucky, the peacekeeper had said.. extremely lucky. Lucky that he was there to stop him as opposed to the REAL guards..
Of course, he'd hardly gone down the right path. But he knew how this was gonna end..
..and he was gonna make sure it ended.

Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. I stared at him disbelievingly. How one earth did he know what I was going to do? I felt the my eyes had grown slightly wider and I probably looked like a complete idiot. Oh well, I wouldn't be on my own in that repspect. I shook my head and tried to formulate words. "You're just kidding around with me. No way would you have ever done what I was going to do." I laughed slightly. "You're. A. Gamemaker. You make the Games! So how would it make sense for you to speak your true feelings about them? It doesn't!" Then I remembered, "Plus, you have no idea what I was going to do. I could've been reciting a monologue or something." I looked away, slightly sheepish.. Hoping I wouldn't be in too much trouble with this man. Rae Odell:Say It

Jared Iron SHOOT TO THRILL! Jared looked her up and down before nodding further down the alley."You're not the only one who feels this way about things and you're selfish to have thought you are. Now, I'd suggest if we're going to actually talk about this, we should probably take ourselves away from prying ears, wouldn't you agree?"Jared walked further down the alleyway, gesturing for the lady to follow him before turning away and trying to ensure his mind remembered the codes and the passwords he had to indent into his memory all those years ago.

[/img] Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. I was shocked. Completely! How could he say I was selfish?! He didn't have a clue who I was and let alone how my character was either. I was deliberating. Do I follow the strange man who accuses me and stops me doing what I want, or turn around and leave? I didn't know where he was going to take me and right at this particular moment; the artificial comfort of my appartment sounded strangely pleasant compared to this. I turn away slightly but then stopped myself. Didn't I want to know what he meant. Of course I did. But he was a little scary at the same time. I didn't trust men, let alone Gamemakers. But, my curiosity got the better of me, so I followed. Besides, I had a few things in mind to say to him. Rae Odell:Say It

Jared Iron SHOOT TO THRILL! Jared walked up to the door, knocking once at the top of the door then croushing and knocking twice at the bottom. Suddenly, the cat flap laying at the bottom of the cold steel withholding Jared and the lady, opened and Jared's voice echoed into whatever hides behind it all."Any way the wind blows, i'll be there to stop it fo' sho'!" The door responded with a click. Jared turned to her and gestured towards it as it began to open, a warm glowing yellow light beginning to seep from the darkness inside. "If you have any questions, save them. Though i will need your name. I'm Jared if you didn't already guess." Suddenly, a roar of applause was heard inside as a hand reached, bony and famished, from the door and pulled Jared in. Things seemed to have gotten weird, but they wouldn't compare to what Rae was in store for behind this door.. {Wingnut!}This is an OOC message: I will PM you a rough idea of what to expect so do not reply till i have done so if that's ok mai, because there's a lot behind this door

[/img] Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. I was about to say what my name was when a hand reached out to pull Jared inside. My voice caught in my throat and I just stared. I should've walked away when I had the chance. This man was creepy! Suddenly I was left outside on my own as Jared was hauled inside. I didn't know what to do. Did I run for it now? No. My curiosity got the better of me. I took a step inside and the door slammed behind me. I spun to face the door. I was starting to get nervous now. I looked around for Jared but all I could see was gloom and people; strange people. I needed to find him. I needed to tell him my name. Maybe things would get better then. Things would seem normal. I hoped. I took a tentative step forward. Rae Odell:Say It (OOC: I'm sorry. That was kinda rubbish.)

Jared felt the warm glow of the place he had grown up to love and now looked around with a smile on his face. They were all still here. Everyone.
As he felt himself being dragged further and further in, he hoped the girl would be following them. Not for his sake, for hers. With a smile, he opened a second door and a distinct gold glow appeared to shine across people's faces. He'd left them this all this time ago and they hadn't touched it.
"Aunty, i left you this to use not to just keep. I thought the place needed money?" The mute aunty he had been talking to shrugged, not her decision to be made apprantly when at Jared's youth, he listened to every word.. or rather motion.. she made.

[/img] Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. I'd caught site of Jared and tried to move closer to him, but I seemed to be taking two steps backwards for every one I took forwards. This place was so strange, that literally everything was catching my attention. And there were so many people! I finally managed to reach Jared, but I didn't stand too close. Just in case he decided to have another trick up his sleeve. He still scared me a little. I saw the gold glow that came from a door he opened as I stood close to him and all I could do was stare. "What on earth is this place?!" I said under my breath. I tried not to look at it too much like I'd never seen it before in my life, because of course, I had. I was just slightly taken aback by everything I was discovering. Well, slightly was an understatement. I was incredibly taken aback! I decided to look around and noticed a few things here and there I recognised. Mainly clothing; at least that was comforting. Rae Odell:Say It
