New Beginnings (Mai and Cam)

[Lotus]

As soon as Gia started choking and laughing at the same time, Isaac instantly tried to help. Wes on the other hand just burst into fits of laughter and Rylee and Max seemed oblivious to the world. He couldn't help it though, it was too funny, so Isaac joined Wes in laughing not really at Gia, but more with her seeing as she was laughing too.

When she'd finally calmed down he said, "Now there's my girl." He grinned and nudged her playfully. Then he turned to Wes and said, "Jeez. Do you have to be so damn hilarious? You could kill my girlfriend." He winked and then started laughing again.

Then he realised. That was the first time he'd called Gia his girlfriend; and said it out loud to someone else too. That must be a first because even Wes stopped laughing for a moment.

[Cham]

"My Girlfriend"

Is that what they were? There were so many labels he could have chosen... Friend. Sister. Childhood Best Friend...

But he chose girlfriend.

Wes seemed genuinly shocked. Gia guessed that it was the only time Issac had ever really labeled anyone... She squeezed his hand, and smiled, glancing down at his lips. A small peck, and a grin. She moved closer and acted like nothing significant had really happened although Rylee nudged her lightly. The girls exchanged a smile, and Gia blushed. Wes continued chatting.

Gia finished her lunch before the others, and waited as the boys devoured their food, taking her tray and dumping it. Not really ready to part so quickly again...

Wes tried to make it easier saying "Well maybe when you pick her up after school, she will have an insta-girlfriend for me too!" Gia smacked his arm, but laughed along with Max and Rylee who were suddenly holding hands. One look at each other and they wandered off together...

[Lotus]

It had been one of the best lunches Isaac could remember. He'd had his, yes, girlfriend cuddled up to him, Wes had acted like a complete moron and Rylee and Max had completely hit it off. There wasn't even one thought passed about the rest of what used to be their group. It was clear; they'd all moved on.

The sad thing was that now he didn't want to leave them all behind as the bell sounded for the last two periods of the day. At least that was only two hours. Two hours and then it would be him and Gia again; plus anyone else who decided to tag along. He gave Wes a raise of the eyebrow when Max and Rylee walked off together. Wes just shrugged his shoulders and grinned.

Isaac leant down and kissed Gia on the lips lightly. "I'll meet you right outside the doors okay? Don't miss me too much." He smiled and mouthed 'I love you' to her as she stepped away. Wes, once again, groaned and complained even me when Isaac hit him round the back of the head.

Now it was time for computing and history. Such fun!

[Cham]

Gia treasured the light, little kiss that landed on her lips. Feeling like she was floating. She couldnt seem to stop smiling! She dragged her hand from his, fingertips touching, then seperating. She smiled, and nodded as he told her he loved her silently, biting her lip as she formed a little heart with her hands. Behind Issac she saw Wes rolling his eyes and saying something she couldnt hear. She turned and walked off to class.

The time dragged on. Rylee had rushed in at the last second, she saw a pink mark on her neck, and her eyes widened. Her lipstick had been smudged lightly, and Gia helped her to fix the obvious signs silently at the back of the class, whispering, catching up. She told her what had happened up until that point, and didnt soak in any of the class.

But as the final bell rang, she popped out of her seat, writing down the homework assignment and arm in arm with Rylee, they pushed out the front doors. Seeing Issac, Max, and Wes together, leaning against the wall chatting. She walked up, and set her books next to his bag. Leaning her body against his already angled to the wall. Kissing him happily. "Hello" She whispered shyly...

[Lotus]

His last two periods dragged on. He didn't mind computing so much, but history was a bore; even with Max and Wes for entertainment. They seemed to have been together in every class so far; just them now. No stupid, stuck up group. It felt good, it really did.

When the final bell rung all three of them leaped out of their seats and were first out of class. They were standing against the wall, and Max was incredibly happy; but he didn't need to wonder why.

As soon as he saw Gia a huge grin spread across his face and when she leant against him he kissed her back, well and truly happy. "Hello gorgeous." He smiled and kissed her nose before wrapping his arms around her for a hug. He looked over to Max and Rylee again and chuckled as he whispered in Gia's ear, "I guess he won't be moping around any longer. Thank you."

He smiled and relaxed his arms a little so Gia could more. Wes was just standing there with an awkward smile on his face. Poor Wes.

[Cham]

His arms snaked around her, and she sighed softly, blissfully. Feeling his warm breath on her neck gave her goosebumps. She kissed his cheek, and smiled "Your very welcome sweetheart."

Wes was looking down awkwardly. He looked a little dejected, Gia stepped back a little, glancing around at the girls who were standing in groups. After a moment she saw one other girl she used to get along with, but hadnt had a reason to speak to in some time. The girl gave her a small smile, and she reciprocated. But her attention wasnt held on Gia for long, glancing at Wes, then away. Nodding her head, and with a smile, she said softly, craning her neck towards Wes "Hey, go talk to Danielle... You see the blonde... There? White blouse... No, Black Pants..." He nodded. "Go as her if she wants to go to the library with us later?" winking at him, he shrugged nonchalantly, but took her advice, a smile growing on his face.

Playfully Gia flipped her hair. "My work is just ever done is it?" Giggling and turning her attention back to Issac.

[Lotus]

Isaac just watched as Gia somehow worked her magic again. Everyone was watching Wes as he walked over to the girl called Danielle. She seemed happy that he'd gone to talk to her, and he could imagine Wes bounded back over trying to keep his happy mood toned down. It would be funny, but great at the same time.

He placed his hands on Gia's his and brought her closer to him. He rested his forehead on hers and chuckled. "Nope." whilst popping the 'p'. Then he turned a little more serious. "It's only been one day. It took one day with me and one day with Maxwell, Rylee, Wes and Danielle. You need to start realising how great you are." One of his hands moved up to cup her chin as he smiled softly. His lips touched hers and he kissed her softly, yet lovingly.

She was the one. Yes, he'd been saying that to himself; but now, with everyone loving her too, he knew for sure.

[Cham]

There is was again... His hands sliding down to her hips, bringing her against him... His touch just seemed to calm every part of her. His compliment however, made her shake her head. She wasnt all that great. Just could see when someone wanted someone else. It wasnt a gift. It wasnt a Talent. It was just observation.

However his kiss stopped her from saying anything. Her hands gentle on his chest. One of his on her side, and the other bringing her face close to his... She loved him so much... And she really felt he loved her back... She pulled away and whispered "Im going to promise you... That everytime i feel it... I will tell you that I love you, and why." Pressing her forehead to his. Her eyes half closed she murmured "I love you, because you are simply you. And thats all i ever wanted"

[Lotus]

He grinned like a complete and utter good down at her at her words. She truly was the greatest person in the world. How he had hurt her all those years back was a mystery. Yes, his anger got a bit much, but she had been right all along. He was better. just remembering the time he hurt her and moved away was enough to calm him straight down. There was, however, always that fear.

His arms tightened around her as he swallowed over the lump in his throat. "I...I love you too Gia. I love you because you made me who I am." He smiled, a little shakily at the fact that he'd said it out loud in public. It had taken him a while to get used to saying those words to her; and pretty much ever time, he stammered.

He rested his head on hers and squeezed her tightly as he heard Max try to whisper to Rylee, "My man is in love!" Isaac chuckled and released Gia a little bit. "Be quiet Maxwell."

[Cham]

Gia gave a sharp intake of breath as he said it aloud... Max made a comment, but she couldnt take her eyes off Issac. Smiling up at him. She didnt mind the stutter, or the nervousness. Infact, she thought it was cute. She loved it. Almost as much as she loved him. And that was saying something.

She chuckled, and leaned back against him, feeling his hands around her waist. So comforting. So secure. She kissed his neck gently, laying her head on his shoulder. He seemed to tense up, and she smiled, another kiss. Waiting a moment. Then another...

[Lotus]

Isaac moved his hands back down to Gia's waist and when she kissed him, he couldn't help but kiss her back. He didn't want it getting too much out in public; that would take away all the fun from when they were alone.

He pulled away from the kiss before he felt himself wanting more and smiled down at her. She seemed to have a proud gleam in her eyes, and there seemed to be a little redness creeping into his cheeks.

Just then Wes bounded over, just like Isaac thought he would. Max piped up and said, "You missed it dude. Our boy here just professed his love. He's all grown up now." He glared at Max playfully and then turned his attention to Wes.

"And? You seem happy enough?"

[Cham]

Gia felt herself flush as Max brought up Issacs big moment. It had been quiet and subtle enough, but now with him shouting it, she felt embarrassed, and awkward. Stepping back a little so their bodies werent mashed together.

Wes shrugged, but smiled, and told exactly how he had confidently strode up to her. Max chuckled saying "More like bounded like a baby giraffe." Pink tinged Wes's cheeks, but he brushed it off, continuing. Gia turned her head toward Danielle who seemed excited. Getting a thumbs up and a silent 'Thank You' Gia just grinned and winked in response before coming back to the conversation Wes was thanking her. But she just shrugged, not really knowing what to say. "She clearly was interested"

[Lotus]

Isaac didn't want Gia to pull away, but he let her. She needed to feel comfortable and that's all that mattered. His grin widened as he heard was Wes had to say. Now none of them would be moaning about being alone.

"I'm glad to hear it Wes. Truly." He grinned and nudged Gia. "See?" She giggled and he kissed her nose. Then he had a plan.

"Guys? Instead of the library tonight why don't you come back to mine to celebrate and stuff? Wes, you can bring Danielle if she wants to come." He looked to them all expectantly. His father would not approve in the slightest, but it was Monday so he was working late; hopefully.

He looked down to Gia and raised his eyebrow with a slight smile playing on his lips.

[Cham]

Gia watched Issac smile. He looked so happy. She bounced on her toes at the prospect of having fun, Not even thinking for a moment about his parents. Issac basically did what he wanted anyways. And now after his father snapped at him, she would be there to build up anything his father broke down.

Wes grinned, Max and Rylee accepted. It was planned! Wes only had to ask "What time then?" Gia looked to Issac, biting her lip. '6?' she whispered. Wondering if Mrs. Waterman would let her cook...

[Lotus]

He thought about it. Six sounded good, his father wouldn't get home till around eight and his mum would love the fact that he had friends over for once; rather than just one girl after another, in their eyes. He nodded his head and said, "Six sounds good to me. We'll see you there then." He grinned and reached down to entwine his fingers with Gia's.

He was pretty much bouncing with excitement and he was pretty sure he hadn't done that since he was tiny.

[Cham]

Gia had the biggest smile on her face since... She didnt even know when. It seemed like since the first time Issac told her he loved her, it just hadnt gone away. Taking her hand as they picked up their stuff. She didnt release as she gave Rylee a half hug, whispering into her ear "Im so happy for you..."

Minutes later they were on their way home... It was so nice to be able to think that. She had a home and a boyfriend, everything she really could ever want. And she had Issac to thank for that. so as they were walking in a silence, she nudge him with her hip and said. "IIIIIII love you, because you found me, and showed me who I was. Thank you" She felt Perky and bubbly.

[Lotus]

Even though it had been nice to be with their proper, new-found friends all day, it was definitely good to be alone with Gia. She seemed really happy, and in turn that made Isaac even happier than he already was. When she came out with what she said again he looked down slightly, feeling the hotness of his face again. No one had ever made him feel like this, or have a reaction like this.

He didn't really know what to do. He stopped in the middle of the street, swung her to him and kissed her. It was a new feeling, for something so passionate and spontaneous; but it felt good. Really good. He pulled away and started walking again. "I l-love you because you're the best friend I should never have lost." He smiled crookedly and felt nervous. Nervous? That was definitely a new feeling.

[Cham]

Issac stopped, and Gia felt a jerking on her hand. She turned her head, and felt one hand on her side pulling her against him. Then a kiss. Passionate, but loving. It took her a moment to reciprocate. with the hand that wasnot clutched in his, she brought it up to his face. Fingertips on his jaw. Then sliding back until her hand was in his hair.

But all too soon it stopped. She felt a little breathless as he stuttered over coming up with something he loved about her. Squeezing his hand, and walking a few inches closer, she felt like floating. "You never lost me, we were just separated for a little while." Smiling "Besides, you cant lose love never lost to begin with"

They spoke little as the front door loomed infront of them. He opened the door and lead her in. She looked for his mother, wanting to know if she could cook for the group. Dropping her books and kicking off their shoes at the front door, she released his hand and scampered into the kitchen where she found the woman. Quickly asking her question and getting a yes in reply. Throwing her arms around her "Thank you mom!" Mrs. Waterman seemed surprised, but hugged Gia back nonetheless. Tightly infact. Like she had just found something...

[Lotus]

Isaac watched her as Gia hurriedly dumped her stuff and ran to the kitchen. He put his own stuff down and slipped off his shoes before he followed after her. That's when he heard thee words. Gia calling his mum, mum? It was definitely odd to hear, but by god did it make him happy to know she felt at home.

He stepped inside and leant against the door. They were both so happy and he decided to follow in Gia's footsteps. He pushed off the wall and walked over to his mum. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and she reciprocated just the same. He pulled away and gave her a sad, dopey sort of smile. He reached up and ran a hand through his hair, "I guess you heard about tonight then?" She smiled and eagerly agreed that it was a good thing, for them both of them. Heck, for all three of them.

After their strange, yet warming encounter Isaac took Gia by the hand and led her upstairs, picking their stuff up on the way. He hadn't looked at her yet; afraid she thought he'd stolen her limelight or something. Man, this girl was confusing him.

[Cham]

Gia stepped back and smiled as Issac moved forward to embrase his mom. She was a little disapointed that he moved away so quickly, but his mother seemed so moved that he had the thought in the first place. Grinning at her as he pulled her from the room. They nabbed their things and made their way up to the bedroom where she set her stuff down on her bag. Then walked to the bed, pulling back blankets and tossing off pillows to begin making the bed.

After a moment she softly said "I think it really meant a lot to your mum that you hugged her... I think shes trying to balance being a good mother and wife..." She almost cringed, slightly scared of what his response would be. It was obvious he was frustrated with his father, but seemed to show a bit of resentment towards his mother as well. The poor woman must be so confused...

Fluffing the pillows, adjusting them, then sitting carefully on the neat bed, she looked up at him, a smile on her face.

[Lotus]

Isaac placed his things on the desk and peaking out the top of one of his textbooks was his B+ test paper. He was not going to enjoy this when his father got home. His mood seemed to have shifted on seeing that and he barely heard what Gia was saying. He didn't really look at her either as he said, "I guess. First time for everything after all."

He knew she'd made the bed and he wanted to thank her, but the words weren't there. His mind had frozen for some odd reason. He walked over to the bed with slightly stiff steps and fell onto it, groaning. Being at school with his friends, having a laugh had made him forget. Being with Gia whenever he could had made him forget. Now he'd made himself remember. "Just kiss me Gia. Make me forget." He looked up at her, upside down mind you, from where he lay and prayed she wouldn't ask why and would just kiss him. He needed her.

[Cham]

Gia watched as Issacs shoulders began to sag... Was it something she had said? His eyes lingered on his school things and she thought she understood... something academical. Probably somehow involved his father.

He flopped onto the bed, and asked for a kiss. A small smila crossed her lips and she slowly moved toward him. Leaning down to press her lips to his gently.

It was interesting kissing upside down. The placement, the feel... But the passion was still there. First she was gentle, loving. But he seemed to need more as she pulled away, and he leaned up to catch her lips again. She moved sideways. This was even weirder, and she didnt like how it felt.

So she twisted once again until she straddled his stomach. Her hands cupping his chin. Thumbs running across his strong jaw. Moving slightly up, she deepened the kiss, flicking her tongue across his lower lip.

[Lotus]

The kiss was interesting upside down and ever stranger sideways, but as soon as she straddled him he didn't have much time to think about how it really felt. He just knew it lit him up inside and that it truly felt like the best thing in the world.

One of his hands tangled a little in her hair whilst the other was placed gently on her hip. She deepened the kiss for him and for that he was grateful. He kissed her back, both of them falling in to step with each other. It was a wonderful sensation and he wanted to bring Gia closer to him, but he couldn't.

With that he pulled away, his chest heaving as he fought to catch his breath back. "There's nothing in the world more than how much ... I-I love you." He leant up again and kissed her lightly.

[Cham]

He pulled back first. She felt like she really couldnt be sated. Chest heaving against his. Wanting more... But they had agreed to take it slow. Still... She couldnt help what she felt.

Running her nose along his as he spoke. Smiling softly as he kissed her. She whispered back "There is such a thing. And its how much I." She kissed him gently, but on his chin "Love" This time on his neck "You" breathlessly she swept a light kiss onto his collar bone. And didnt stop. Trailing them softly, but back upwards. leading up his neck, behind his ear.

[Lotus]

He smiled in response to her, feeling his bad mood slowly dissipate as he whispered her name. He drew her face back to his and he kissed her with a roaring passion, making his fingers knot in her hair even more.

When he pulled away his breathing, that had just started slowly down, had picked up again and in raggedy breaths he rested his forehead against hers. He tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and whispered, "You make me feel so many emotions and half of them I never knew I could express in front if someone. With you it's like I feel them all at once." He kissed her lightly on the lips, "It's so confusing still. All I want is you, but I overthink it and find all my faults in what this is. But it still doesn't change how I feel, which makes it more confusing."

He sighed and sat up, bringing Gia closer to him so she was properly and comfortably sitting in his lap. He leant up and kissed her nose before he said, rather huskily, "That also means that I'm finding it really hard to control myself around you."
